So, I called Aries to try and get some new mounting brackets for the grill guard I just bought off craigslist, but they said they are on back order and not sure when they will be getting more in. Does anyone out there have these brackets they want to sell me, or know where I can find new brackets. I have like new grill guard that I cannot mount right now and its frustrating. Any help is much appreciated.

I hate to be the guy that starts the whole "Oh yeah I have the same problem" BS but yeah... I have the same problem.

Apparently Aries was just bought out by a larger company and now they are in disarray because they are restructuring. Pretty annoying I know.

So i figured it out....bought the brackets for the Westin Grill Guard off of etrailer.com just to see if it would work and it fit like a charm.

So I did some research and found that the brackets that are made for the Westin Brush Guards are eerily similiar, if not the exact same as the brackets I see on the Aries style. You have 3 holes at the bottom of each arm of the guard right? Instructions are super easy to follow.

There is the link. Make sure you don't tighten one side at a time, tighten them little by little simultaneously. It helps if you have someone to help you hold it in place while you tighten, so the guard doesn't move off center too much. The brackets might seem too far away from the guard at first, but just play with it a bit and you will get it lined up perfect. I will post some pics of it all when I get off work tomorrow morning. Stuck working these 10-7 am shifts. More TW time though

I can add some pics of how the top brackets mounted if need be, but the instructions that come with the kit are pretty straight forward!

    Glad I could help!

Hey I didn't forget about ya. I got the kit and installed a few weeks back and I was surprised how good of a fit it was. I hope someone else can use this info. Thanks again!

Glad you found the brackets. Just an FYI these bush guards are damage multipliers in an accident. They do look great on the trucks!

Thats the only downside. They do look great on the trucks, but you're right total multiplier. Had some truck know it all try and tell me that these brush guards are added security to the truck and save damage to the front end. Some people see extra metal on the front and assume its added protection.

Yeah, I got the same sales pitch. My reasoning was protection from deer, but it was a fender bender that taught me the hard lesson. I do miss the look on my truck, but it did allow me to upgrade :D
