!Help! Any ideas of a deeper sounding exhaust?!

So I have this kid down the street. He took his cat out and it's straight piped. Sounds like a dirt bike . It's also a Honda Accord. I was just wonder what can I do to give me truck a mean deep sound to scare the kid. I have a flow master 40 on it already. It's a 3.4L

Sorry, but there's nothing you can do... I would say go with a borla muffler. But it's not gonna be loud. Or mean and deep as you want it to be. But it's the best/clean sounding "deep/agressive" as your gonna get. Aero turbine is another popular one, and super loud, but sounds like shit, imho. Borla pro xs to be specific. Its what I have on mine. I have a resonator as well, so it's not very loud. But it is fairly deep. And super clean. Without a resonator it would just be louder, and possibly have a little rasp or pop to it. Not to mention possible drone issues, depending on if you have a tailpipe, or If it's getting dumped before axle under the truck somewhere.

Ha. Yeah... Been waiting to use that one. But seriously though, and you'll here this often, it's just not possible to get that deep and mean v8 sound with a 6. If you really want to blow his socks off, do a bed exit prerunner exhaust

Run a Spintech muffler !!

 

Keep the fm40 and add a small resonator.

 

Even with the sound off (I'm at work) that was hilarious!!

 

Buy headers and remove muffler. Keep cat for smog.

 

Where'd you get the ring around the pipe, I'm gonna have mine routed just like this in a couple weeks but I cannot find a decent looking trim plate.

 

The business that did it had em. As I had it all installed for a hefty price. Not sure where to find some. Sorry bud. Maybe find someone that can machine one for ya. I've seen some different styles so they must be available somewheres though. Or maybe call the place here in az if you have no luck and see if they can ship you one. Not sure if they would do that or not. They have a simple round ring too, besides the one I have.
