I have them because I was tearing boots so often along with breaking them. This leaves my inner as the weak link which is still an easy repair.

I’ve had them on for about 6 months with some hard wheeling and no issues.

I honestly haven’t noticed much of a difference at all with them. The only difference I’ve noticed really is no more seeping boots.

Ill have to report back once I have been running them for longer than 2 weeks, but I recently pulled this trigger.

I’m liking the rigidity of that kit but I can’t get over how many people are so sure about busting your steering rack when running these. I want to beef up my steering components, especially with the tundra rack swap but was wondering if there was anything I could do until then, or just leave it for now.

I have heard the stories as well, but on the other hand you have 700 pages of JD FAB products and testimonies, many of which are running this kit, and they dont seem to be having many issues. I have a personal buddy who has been running this kit for 2 years on 35's and he hasnt blown a rack yet so I figured I SHOULD be fine.

Fair enough. Yeah I need a new rack for sure and would like to do the tundra swap but that’s $1k plus some fab work lol. But yeah if you wouldn’t mind reporting back in a little while after you put in some miles on them.

    Agreed!

Thanks for the reply. It looks like from this picture the tie rod end sleeves match up in length. :notsure:

Yeah if you go on their site they make stock length, and multiple ones for LT kits. So I’m assuming if you go for stock length + the Warfab sleeves, that would work?

Plus, they have an extra level of adjustment since the @WarFab Armor sleeves will block the adjustment hex: "These are going to block the adjustment hex on the tie rod, so you will need to use a slip jaw/clamp style tool to make alignment adjustments"

Disregard, they still require adjusting the inner tie rod: "Alignment is done just like stock by tunring the inner tie rod and locking the inner/stock jam nut."

Hmmm I might go with a new stock rack, Warfab sleeves + heim ends. See how that works and if I need to tundra swap then so be it lol

How's the maintenance on them? Are you wiping them down and spraying them with WD-40?

So, @WarFab Armor if I have the Total Chaos +2 LT Kit, would I still get the stock length tie rod ends, along with your sleeves? I currently have the spacer with stock ends.
