Hi all. I have hit the limit of my own limited electrical repair and internet search capabilities, so hoping for some help from you kind folks.

My (2016 TRD Sport) driver's side heated mirror recently stopped working - the passenger side still works fine. The fuse is good, so I pulled the mirror and there is no voltage there when it is turned on, so I pulled the door panel and there is also no voltage at the molex connector when it is turned on. So the problem lies somewhere between the switch and the connector inside the door. I'm confused what could cause this besides a wiring issue, since the passenger side still works. What are my next steps?!

And this is doubtfully related, but just in case - I have had the opposite problem with the mirror motors for a year now - the driver's side motor works, but the passenger side doesn't. But that is far less inconvenient than the heater now that it is getting cold.

Verify the wires from the door O2 to the cab(driver's side kick panel) to IC3 from there to relay.

Any update OP? My 2016 OR drivers side just started taking longer than the passenger side to heat up. Hoping it’s an easy fix.

nope, gave up and been using a credit card to scrape it lol.

however i think i may have misinterpreted from this thread (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2017-tacoma-heated-mirror-relay-location.782526/) that the relay is behind the heated mirror switch, which is in the center. but now that i read it again, i think it is behind the little coin tray and the AC switch is to the left of the steering wheel. @caribe makaira can you confirm? if so, maybe i'll try again. i just didn't feel like taking apart the center console.

Can you show me where IK2 for passenger side mirror heater? I checked the mirror heater relay and it's working. I also swapped relays to make sure.
