Headunit Firmware/ Software Updates

Im not sure if this is common knowledge or not but there is a toyota website to download updates for newer headunits.

Btw my truck is a Canadian model with navi. and the update worked for it as well. It is supposed to fix rebooting issues according to the update notes.

Nice. Unfortunately it shows that the available update was from August 10th, 2016. Was hoping there was something newer. Great reference though.

 

Yeah it doesnt look like it gets updated very often. It was newer then the version on my trucks radio though.

 

Mine did an OTA update earlier this year

 

I had a update at the dealership last month for the entune unit.

 

The Canadian trucks dont get ota updates because all the Entune stuff is disabled. The headunit is the same though.

Mine went from Audio Ver. 010182 to 01018C.
