I've read/heard waxing your plastic headlights prevents and causes yellowing over time. Anyone have any definitive answers?

I use the Jetseal every other wash also. Has UV blockers, so it should help.

This stuff works on glass, plastic, rubber, etc etc. I have been using this stuff for a decade. Water jumps off of it. The wax lasts a year, or more.

Note: you have to mix with ZFX accelerator.

Waxing your headlights will drastically prolong their life before they yellow.

CG looks like they have a lot of marketing hype, but do a quick Google "Zaino vs. Chemical Guys" and I'm seeing consistent favoring of Zaino because it's more durable.

I waxed my parents camry every year with liquid wax. It's a 2011 camry still looks brand new.

coming from a detailer, I swear by jet seal and especially on your headlights. A lot of car-washers offer to polish headlights but they always fail to re-seal them. When I restore headlights and remove the factory clearcoat, I use 2 coats of jet seal and it will last about 8-12 months.

But it sleeps in a garage. Some of our trucks live outside 24 hours a day.

It actually sits outside. It's in my garage right now while parents are on vacation.

Water jumps of Duragloss Aquawax too. Sitting here watching big rain drops jump of my truck right now. I use it once a week when I dry my truck after washing.

I always wax the plastic lens (front headlights and tails) when waxing the rest of the car.

I have noticed Duragloss being the next best stuff. I have never used that stuff but I have used their quick detailer. Never bothered to get CG (chemical guys) stuff. Looks like too much money spent on making flashy marketing and labeling.
