I just managed to screw up the simplest of jobs. In the middle of changing the passenger side headlight bulb, the retaining clip came out. I have the clip but cannot figure out how to put it back in place, or even exactly where it goes. Can anybody help me get back on track?

Looks like the clip that flips over to hold the bulb in the socket. Just have a look at the other side under the rubber boot and you'll be able to figure it out. Should look like this.

In case this helps, here's a couple of more shots of the same thing.

Thank you Raylo and Too Stroked. Exactly what I wanted, though I did finally figure it out. Ten minutes to change two bulbs, over an hour fighting one stupid clip:(.

Been there and done that. But I was standing in a cold (25 degree F) hotel parking lot 1,100 miles from home. :annoyed:
