Saw this online today. Has anyone tried something like this?

Would concerns that the bikes on the back of a 4-bike rack would make contact with the front of the boat or winch part of the trailer be founded?

Its easy to find a dual-mount but not one rated for 7500 lbs. it's only $47 on Amazon & available via prime. I'm going to try it and let folks know how it goes. FYI i'm working with a four-bike rack and a custom trailer for my 18.5 foot sea ray bowrider.

Your image didn't come through. Are you talking about this?

I'd be concerned about clearances between the boat and your bike rack. Also, making sure the bike rack post doesn't extend too far though the receiver and contact the truck. My little "overland" trailer has a receiver hitch on the back of it... not sure how feasible it would be to add a hitch to the back of a boat trailer... but just a thought.

    No big deal.

I do like that and wouldn't have any concerns about loading, but like you said, it is tough to judge about the bikes hitting the boats, esp as the carriers tend to sway a lot. Not to mention crests and troughs at the boat ramp.

Possibly dumb question, why not toss the bikes in the boat?
