So I have two of them now since I thought the first was defective, but on both, the driver side window doesn't work although the rest do. Anybody run into the same problem? Everything looks like it should be working, but maybe it's not as compatible as some thought originally? Putting OEM back in works fine. Maybe a fuse issue? Figured I'd ask here before my dumbass goes and digs around the wiring until something breaks.

It might be that simple, maybe not? I'm not too familiar with it. Just some food for thought and might work

If the connector is the same but the camry module doesnt work, that means the pin-out is different (basically what @HondaGM said).

You could depin/repin the existing connector to match the camry wiring diagram or splice the new one in like you said, but may have to pull power from a different wire, etc.

Yeah I'll take a look when I'm home, but from what I could recall looking at it, it looked identical which was why I was hoping for a simple fix, gotta do some digging but I'll update it here if I figure it out. 20 bucks vs the plug n play option at 60 bucks or so iirc

That one, into a 2012 TRD sport. Hmm there shouldn't be a difference from 05-11 to 12-15 window switches right? Although if there is, I'd assume that would be an easy fix

The Camry and Tacoma use the same window switch, so if it's works in a Camry, it should work in a Tacoma.

(2011 and 2012 do use different switches though - 84820-06071/84820-33270 is the correct switch for a 2012-2015 Tacoma).

That's what I figured, hence why I made the post haha. I was wondering, what're the odds that both switches I received, only the driver side window didn't work. Assumed it wasnt just an odd coincidence

The cartrimhome switches are one of the happiest mods I’ve made to my 2015. I use them ALL the time.

Same here. Didn’t think I needed them and now that the switches are installed. I wonder why it didn’t come that way.
