I’ll start by saying that I’m new to TW. It’s been a great asset for me as my 2018 DCSB TRD Sport is my first truck. I just installed an AFE Mach Force XP on my truck this weekend and already about to pull it off. The sound is honestly too much for me - sounds like a loud utility ATV in my opinion so I’m wondering if anyone has success with a resonator on this setup. I’m not sure where it would fit, maybe post muffler on the section going over the axle? Any thoughts help.

Welcome to TW. I don't think you are going to fit a resonator anywhere after the muffler with that system unless you want to lose your spare tire. I have a Flowmaster cat back and I put the resonator in front of the muffler. I used a 2 1/2"x18" spiral louver design glasspack,it works great.

How did that fit in front? The section between the stock mount and the muffler curves...

It goes in about 3" in front of the muffler. I also have the URD cat delete Y pipe on mine.

Thank you sir. This could work and hopefully kill that drone from 1800-3000 rpm.

It really helped with mine,it wasn't to bad with just the flowmaster but when I put in the URD cat delete it got really bad. Make sure that they install it so the flow is going "in" like the picture above.

ETA most exhaust shops should have something like the above on hand.

ETA II No problem shipmate;) just don't call me Sir,my parents were married...rpyqxrxKyMXHnavCpZzV.gif
