Some people like buttons? Idk, really.
You may see in other comments above, I'm not going out of my way to sell these; they're just something I offer to folks who want this particular solution but don't know how to do the wiring, don't want to screw with it, etc.

For me the deciding factor was that I am very particular about mirror positioning and cleanliness,so poking at it 2+ times per day didn't interest me much. And, of course, I wasn't paying for my time, so the cost for diy was a little better.

Sorry if I came off as rude.

I was more curious if it had better range, etc, than the mirror version.

No worries, no rudeness received. I'm just a grumpy curmudgeon, and that can definitely come across in my posts.

I never got a response from any of the previous Marantec requesters.

What model is your opener remote? I'll see if I can find one to match. I'm fairly certain I can get it to work just a matter of cost if it's some ungodly expensive remote.

Sorry got busy. The opener itself is a Marantec M Line 4500 and the remote says 2-channel Model M3-2312

I should be able to make that work for the same price as the others.

I don't have a second gen so I wouldn't know what wires to tap into for dash lighting, or their relative voltages compared to each other and also to ground or hot, what kind of fusebox you have, if the switches will fit, or the lengths of wiring needed between each component (fuse tap, dash light circuit t-taps, switch, and convenient place to mount the opener itself).

If you can help with finding this info, I can tell you whether or not I can make one up.

Ok so I am late getting back to this by several months buuuuuttttt:

    I have the 2-Channel MARANTEC Model: M3-2312
    FCC ID: NKPD304315

I have no idea what the 2nd button does though.... so if I only get the 1 switch that works too.

After having some issues, I am done wiring these up for folks as it's now costing me money to offer them instead of even giving me beer money, much less being worth my time.

If you want just the switch, I'll send them out for $25. For $40 I'll also include the t-taps, fuse tap, mosfet, and wiring diagrams used to make them as a diy kit.

    Sorry for any inconvenience.
