I bought some of their brushes for detailing work and they work well. I didn't notice that the start to shed bristles sooner than the expensive brushes I was using but that's not an issue for my use. For painting they would likely be disposables though because I don't think they'd stand up to repeated washing.

^ This guy details. A small bit of all purpose, brush, wipe and some compressed air.

Am in need of some new brushes as Im getting low. Always truly to keep a few of each size brush on hand for detailing, greasing and actual paint. Will have to snag some brushes the next time I'm at HF and see how they work.

Who here has a harbor freight obd2 scanner? I would like a home scan tool that does airbag/abs, live data, freeze frame, and component testing but that would have to be the ZR15s and I am not spending that much when I can use the snap on shop scanner most of the time, I am considering the ZR11s since it can do most of what and I want is is cheap enough to only use 3-4 times a year.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
I have a FOXWELL NT630 from the jungle site, and so far pretty happy with it. Comparable price and functions, I think.

Added another HF item to the garage. Been wanting it for a while and $40 off plus new suspension on the way helped me commit.

I have an old 10+ yrs ago basic scanner from harbor freight, so doesn’t apply to any models they have now. But for the handfull of times I’ve ever had a code pop up it easily told me the code and reset it.

Can you command stuff on and off while watching live data? For example turn the purge valve on while watching the fuel tank pressure and the O2 sensors?

Hmm, good question. I have taken it that far, hence the "I think" at the end of my statement.

That requires a scanner that is “bidirectional”

Look for one of those. The cheaper scanners that mention abs and often just mean you can clear a code and maybe diagnose.

I want these. Stupid socket boxes are destroyed - stuff goes everywhere. Wish I had the $$$ for a full sized tool box. Someday.

I think I left one layer of the foam on the top and bottom then filled it with supplies

    Got bored, bought another jack.

I have 2 of the OG Daytona Yellow Jacks.
1 of the Pittsburgh 1.5 ton jacks with 911 Motorsports big wheel/offroad kit.
1 of the Badlands offroad jack.

Anyone else with a Badlands jack notice it takes many many pumps to lift a truck? Any luck bleeding/adding fluid to make it faster? Just getting back on my feet after ankle surgery #4 so I didn't want to try to lift it on the workbench unless I had to.

Tool stand to put my Craftsman King Seely drill press on. Seems sturdy, LOTS of nuts/washers/bolts to assemble it (48 or 50). Cut some plywood for the top and bottom shelf, and that gave it more rigidity. Also the mobile base so I can wheel it around (to be assembled and installed tomorrow). Now I gotta figure out how to get the drill press on it. It's a 140 pounds of cast iron and my back isn't up to it. Need to phone a friend. IMG_9502.jpg

Just picked one of these up for $25 and some CRC cleaner for the reverse connection. We will see how the jack does. Too short so will need to carry a block of wood. Also need to source the spare tire removal tool.
