Getting this socket set for Christmas from the wife unit. I know because I picked it up myself :D
Quinn is supposed to be the better brand at Harbor Freight and this set has good reviews, many saying all the sockets are 6 point, looks like that might be true based on the picture on the package, we shall see. With a 25%,off coupon I got it for around 42 -44 bucks out the door including taxes.

Yep handy little set, but I plainly see many 12pt sockets in it, if that matters to you.

Yeah, that picture on the website isn't whats on the actual package though, quite certain there are no 12 pt sockets in it, especially based on the reviews and the picture on the actual set I picked up. The package says 6 and 8 point, reviews said 6 point, I'm fine with either. I will know Christmas morning and report back what I find. Here's pictures of the package I picked up:

Well I opened the Harbor Freight Quinn brand socket set today, and am very pleased at the quality. All three ratchets are 72 tooth and operate smoothly, the sockets are heavy weight, well marked for size, and color banded blue for metric red for SAE. Only 3 sockets are 8 point (3/8" drive sockets in lower left in the photo), all other sockets are 6 point and the same size sockets in the 1/4 inch drive are 6 points. The rachets can be disassembled for greasing. The only thing missing in this set are long extensions, but I previously had bought a set of long extensions on Amazon. The case is very sturdy, and all parts are secure, you can open and close and nothing will fall out. The case also opens fully so I can lay it flat in my tool cabinet drawer. I have yet to use these, but the quality appears to be on par with some Craftsman sockets I have, and I like these ratchets much better- push to install/release socket, can be disassembled to grease (I don't think thats the case with some newer Craftsman ratchets from reviews I've read). The Quinn brand is supposed to be superior to HF's Icon and Pittsburgh brands and I believe it. Best value in quality tools I've found so far.

Quinn is supposed to be better than Icon? I thought Icon was supposed to be the absolute top tier HF tool line?

Those look nice, either way! I know the new gunmetal Craftsman ratchets aren’t rebuildable, haven’t seen anything on the other stuff.

Supposed to be Pittsburgh at the lower end, then Quinn, then Icon at the top end for HF tools.

The guy at the checkout counter said that Quinn was the top of the line, that the coupon I had might not work for it (it did). I haven't used HF tools before so I don't know which is better. I do know that the Quinn ratchets performed well in a youtube video I watched.
Regardless, I think that the Quinn 66 piece is an excellent buy. Here's a good Youtube review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1NvCduHgKY
Quinn ratchet held up well in a break test:

Looking at the socket and ratchet prices at HF, that would make sense. Reading the reviews of each brand on HF, for quality vs. price point I'm gonna be going to Quinn ever time from now on :)

I have only one Quinn tool and it’s a pair of diagonal cutters. I used them once to cut a small screw that was rusted and not coming out, it broke the tip off but was able to get the job done. Warrantied them out and the next pair looks pretty shitty and doesn’t line up well, but I don’t use them often. Figure the warranty is good enough to keep swapping them out as needed.

Merry Christmas to me! Got it for $189. It seems very well put together and sturdy.

Picked me up a hydraulic ram for my JD2 Model 3 bender today. Welded together a frame and voila. Air assisted bender! Best $100 I've ever spent at HF. Knob on ram is 3D printed, btw. The factory turny thingy sucks.

Yeah I struggled with the idea of getting a bender for years. My shop space is run out of my apartment's 1-car garage so I wasn't exactly at liberty to con-fast stuff to the floor. I got this idea from a guy named DBT or something. There's a 25% off coupon for NYE this year and I'll be picking up the HF tube roller to sit on that little platform to the bender's right.

Anybody use a HF hand truck? Have to move a giant ping pong table for my 6 year old nephew, might be an excuse to get a nice hand truck.

I have one. It’s fine. Nothing particularly nice or spectacular about it. It gets the job done for small stuff.

I picked one up to move stacks of brake rotors. It works fine. Don't overload it if you have the inflated tires version, they're not meant for 400-500 lbs in one shot.

I bought the blue one from them and the wheels started wobbling in just a few weeks, most I ever loaded it was probably 350 lbs.

Suitable for light use or seldom use, but if using one regularly I’d buy a better version. Had zero issues with my aluminum Magliner dolly, daily used for a decade.
