    Hello All,

I need some help... I just purchased the Hankook Dynapro AT2 and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these? I live in NH so I'm looking for a nice balanced tire that can deal with Mud / Snow / Wet... I also have a debate in the house run black or lettering on my black SR5.... What do you run?

    Peace

How are these tires so far? I'm planning on getting these in the next year or so.

I didn’t have the AT2s, but I’ve had 2 sets of ATMs and I have no complaints.

Seem like a decent tire on paper, I’m curious how they do as well

Me too. I'm looking at the Dynapro Xtreme 265/75/16 116t . At 39lbs per tire that's really light for an aggressive AT.

My wildpeak 265/75/16 116T are still great at 40k. Best AT tire I've ever owned. I'd imagine I'll need to replace them in the next 20k(year).

I'm just going to go ahead and try these out next time.. I'm thinking they are gonna be every bit as good as my wildpeaks

I have em on my truck 265 70 17. A little over 53000 k on them. According to my tire guy they have about 25% left. They are starting to get a little noisy.

They start off fine, but then after 10k miles are really noisy. Mine made this really loud wah wah wah sound whenever I hit 65mph. Annoying AF. I tried balancing and rotating and no fix. I lived with the annoyance for a few years until I replaced with Open Country tires and it was dead silent.

This has been my experience with most AT tires that are C and E rated. Thanks.

I have some experience, had these for 3 years on an Explorer in 245/75/17. Live in snow and ice country, 300"+ per season. They were good through first couple winters, and put 20k on them. Now I'm half way through the tread at 30k. Same increase in tire noise as stated by others, same unbalanced tire sound. Pace of wear has increased along with it as well. At half tread, they are at the end of their road for what I consider safe reliable traction on ice, hardpack mat without sand, or wet sloppy mush. I can still get around fine with added caution, but having to make an emergency avoidance manuever at or near highway speed on slippery roads would be dangerous. Now when they let go in steering or braking, they just don't catch traction again until nearly stopped.
Deepest powder snow I made it through when new: 32". Deepest snow at half tread: I wouldn't push my luck past 16".
Haven't done much bush bombing in the mud, but they're really not deep lugged enough for serious goop, caked over pretty much immediately in clay.
I think they're all right for a snow country daily driver, certainly not a replacement for winter rubbers but close when they're newer. At 50k my tires will be completely spent for all practical purposes, well ahead of the 70k rating. Not expecting a warranty claim to be worth much if anything at all.

    First post... very informative..thank you.
I'm not in nearly as much snow as you, but this is good information. In the next year I'll be needing new rubber, so it's good to do some research on so.e tires I haven't yet ran.
