Im looking for the brightest and highest quality lighting to upgrade the headlights on my truck. There seems to be a bunch of aftermarket companies making them (not all good) and I'm wondering if anybody can recommend the best ones to check outIMG_3850.jpg

A projector retrofit is the best of the best. If you're into a diy, everything can be had on Theretrofitsource.com except the headlight housings which would be depo brand I believe if you want new. If your oem housings are in good shape that'll save some cash.

If you'd like to have someone do them for you, @LSC15 builds them sourced from theretrofitsource with new housings and everything.

I highly (highly) recommend The Retrofit Source, @TRSAndrew and crew are standup folks, I've had a few struggles with my system... blew through a bulb a few months in, but after a brief email or two, they covered the bulb under warranty and replaced at no charge, and even allowed me to upgrade both bulbs to a different temperature for a really good deal.

More recently, I had an ignitor go bad, causing the bulb to 'splode, they're replacing everything bad under warranty still. They're really good people, and this is absolutely one of the areas that it truly pays to buy from a respected vendor, because you'll never know if you'll need to utilize the warranty, but the quality of the product is outstanding.

I've heard of folks using off-brand retrofits, and when they switch their high beams on, the dash light doesn't turn on; this is not the case with my TRS kit.

I F'd up my housings the first install, so I have new housings that I'm going to redo with a custom halo for turn signal and black out the reflector.

the retrofit source has extremely good halos, but they only make up to 120mm, which you will need to install a projector in order to mount them on
