halloween decorations

wife asked me to start making a few of the Halloween decorations this year so we can be ready in time since the neighborhood goes all out with a block party. For some reason I don’t mind making these this year.....

 

Something tells me that’s not what she had in mind for those.

 

No worries, it will get there, block party the roads get blocked, they hand out candy to kids and alcohol to adults. Smoke machines and a few haunted houses. Both my sisters bring their families for it . Plus Halloween is the Best holiday And I found another use for the paint I got to try some projects lol

 

But, but, but.....

It's September.....

 

They go out last week of September, so got to prepare with the new stuff, have a bunch stored, about 6 large moving boxes full and I’m on the low side. It’s a big deal in this neighborhood. Plan to make a few new additions this year.

I went to lowes the other night and the Christmas stuff is already on display with a small Halloween section hidden behind it

 

That's BS.

 

Keep out of the back door. That’s what my wife always says. No Happy Halloween for me.

No, But I am sure most of the big box stores are ramping up...

 

No the ones I have been to have skipped it completely and are selling Christmas stuff except hone depot but even then I think Christmas section is twice the size

 

Was at Home Depot, Halloween stuff was scarce and in the middle of the isles like the clearance stuff. Christmas decor was in full swing and took up an entire 100 foot length wall of the store.

 

This is what I have seen, which is sad, I like Halloween way more then Christmas

 

I like it, if I ever get my moriomootos and if I can swap the drl to orange I would like to do something similar.

 

CostCo too. It was nearly 100F today.

 

I just hang one of those fake arms or legs out of the tailgate on mine. Been doing it for years and always get a good reaction.

I choose Skull theme for my truck and for home decoration just order one skull for my Toyota will place in the front of Tacoma. have to do some skeleton makeup on it.

 

I thought it was just me! I walked into Kroger the other day and all of a sudden BAM, I smell Christmas. Look to my right and sure enough holiday decorations.
