    Hey all, new here

As most of you know it’s probably impossible to find a 27F agm battery.

So I finally bit the bullet on an H7 AGM battery wondering if anybody has any experience and installing this in a 2nd GEN Tacoma.

thanks for any thoughts you can give.

Length and width are really close so that's not an issue. The H7 (or also known as the 94R) is about an inch shorter so it's just a matter of the upper bracket being lower (cut some threads or a new hold down).

    Cheers.

The 24F duracell from Sam's is not cutting it. I bought it used off fb marketplace when it was only 3mos old and it struggles to crank after the truck sits for a week. Never an issue with the previous 27f Duralast that lasted 6 years. I swapped under warranty another 24F duracell just to experience the same issue. I about to pick up an H7 94R Everstart Maxx AGM from a seller on Offerup. He is even swapping it in for a new one before I pick it up. I figured it's worth a shot for only $100 and confirmation of fitment from TW members. It's very difficult to find a 27F battery on the marketplace.
