I have had rocks and road debris ruin radiators in the past so I’m extra paranoid. I like to do this mod to my new vehicles for extra protection and peace of mind. I use black flexible plastic gutter guard and zip ties. It’s about $10 in supplies. I also didn’t like how the oem grille looks so see through so this helps reduce that as well while blending right in and not looking too ghetto. It doesn’t significantly reduce airflow like some aftermarket grilles can. It may not be everybody’s cup of tea but it was cheap and only took about 30 mins.

Unless you’re really looking for it you can’t even tell anything has been done.

Nice! Growing up in North Dakota we would do this in the Summer with window screen to keep the radiators from getting gummed up with dead bugs/mosquitoes. Worked great.
