    Hey yall,

Looking for links or detailed step by step guide to a DIY drawer system for shortbed. Even better if its dummy proof for someone like me with lack of skills on woodworking etc.

    TIA

Well, as nice as they are, the other post certainly wasn’t DIY - I’m in the process of doing my own too, and here’s step 1 for you:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=diy...j0j4&hl=en-US&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

Of all those that show up on the google search above, this DIY drawer only unit is pretty neat - with plans, too: http://www.finehomebuilding.com/201...rawer-and-get-easy-access-to-all-your-tools-2

DIY credit card entry? Just kidding, but the plans I listed are a good beginner project, too. I do like the one you posted though.

It is a very informative video, I have built cabinets before and there are some good pointers in the video that I have not tried before. So, As a first, I just bought a pocket hole jig and am going to build this one the way they show on the video. Will take good notes if anyone is interested.

I bought a Kreg jig system a little while ago. This thread will be a good project for that! Thanks.

I built something similar for my Sprinter van conversion. Hardest part was jacking kids for all their skateboat bearings...

Post pics of your project throughout your build. Very curious as to how it goes... Good luck.
