Does anybody know the best point to ground a wire for an amp if I’m not wanting to do a seat bolt? Kick panel? Is there a spot there and what should I be looking for? Thanks!

There is a ground under each seat, there is a ground behind the kick panel, there is a ground in the center console... pretty much any place something is bolted down is a ground.

Im currently midway through my install. Im running two amps and my in the back wall in a double cab. My plan is to run the ground through the rubber plug on the cab floor and ground to the frame.

Aux back up lights, Bed lights, Re-located trailer plug, Good dooby, a.k.a. jumper cable mod, Heated seats, back up camera,
I'll add that the chosen bolt should not be securing plastic. Clean metal to metal for the best ground connection

Gotcha. Can I take a picture of what I think is the ground point behind the kick panel and have y’all confirm or deny? I think that’s where I want to go but I don’t want to be wrong. Thanks!

I just talked to Mr. Marv this week about where to ground my amps. He said he tested the surface where the seatbelt mechanism is mounted on the drivers side rear. He said its a perfect ground.

This is where im going to mount my ground now. Remember to remove any paint so you have bare metal for the ground.

I always use the seatbelt bolts for grounding points as well. Never had any problems with them.
