    Ive also heard of people using that 3M double stick tape instead of glue...

    I used two different 3m weather strip glues that both failed almost immediately. Weirdly enough they both stuck really well to the plastic(I scored it with a razor blade) but wouldn't hold at all to the rubber.

    A buddy of mine recommended super glue and it's held up surprisingly well for the past year.

    Im in the same situation here. I bought the grille from vipih.com, and the weather strip does not stick to the double sided tape that came with it. So, im trying to avoid using glue, and Im also looking for a tape that can stick to the weather strip.

    I've used 3M double sided tape for the door on my camper, it does an awesome job. It's uses are only limited by one's imagination.
