I recently had some work done on my 2004 TRD 4x4 3.4L Toyota Tacoma by Helms Automotive in Greensboro, NC. I live in North Raleigh and was having trouble finding a Toyota specialist that I felt comfortable with working on my truck.

Will Helms at Helms Automotive (Helms Automotive Service - Toyota Lexus & Hybrid Repair and Service in Greensboro NC) works exclusively on Toyota and Lexus and has the pedigree I was looking for in someone to do the more in-depth work that I cannot do at my house (new to Raleigh and have no available outside space for tackling anything more than fluids changes, etc.).

Will has been to multiple Toyota Training Schools and holds numerous Master Certs.

He was fast to quote and complete the requested work. He was willing to call and chat to talk through areas of concern, and to help me triage the various items I want to fix on my truck.

I just wanted to throw out a recommendation for anyone in the Central/Eastern NC area looking for a Toyota Specialist to go see Will. His facility has everything you can expect to find in a dealership shop, as this was his professional for many years prior to going private.

For those willing and able to turn your own wrenches, just disregard. For those that need reliable, well-priced, and trustworthy Toyota service, please reach out to Will. He was even happy to install all the OEM parts I brought him.

I will second this recommendation. I just used Will to fix some things that were beyond by knowledge base. Will be going back for anything I can’t do.
