    Good day guys,

I'm trying to update my audio system to the latest versions. I managed to update the newest firmware of the headunit and it's working fine, but now i would like to update the Gracenote Database.

I've been looking a bit on the forum but wasn't able to download the latest database.

    I've found this link:

    http://toyota-en-us.visteoninfotainment.com/how-to-update-gracenote

but apparently i cannot download the file...

    Anybody had any luck?

    Thanks!

Hey Versus78 - to download the gracenote update file from the link you provided you will need to right click (not left) on the "click here" link on their page [To download the latest Gracenote update click here.] and select "Save Link as..." (if using firefox, for IE it may be Save Target As...) and save the file to your USB drive. File name is cmu-NA-021115.up

Never knew this was a thing (never put that thought into the album art). About how often does this get updated?

Edit: it appears the link to the .up file on that page is broken; right clicking and downloading just downloads the 'access denied' error text. Trying to load the file on your truck will fail (won't break anything if you don't believe me and want to try, though). Some searching on Google shows that it's apparently been broken for years.

In everything I have read, the directions state to go into the systems settings in your radio and click on the “Music Database Update” then select your file from usb. I don’t believe entune has a music database update menu item does it?

I think this file is for the Yaris' system only. I have been looking for an update to this for our trucks for a while. No luck yet.

If you look at the Tundra thread linked elsewhere it seems like none of the other manufacturers' files work.

I have a 2019, would this make the artist have updated photos or at least album art? its so ridculous/funny to see old ass pics of artists or to be listening a rap artist not only to have the pic of the two women with the tag "urban"
