    Good day,
Im wondering what my govenor is set to on my 2017 tacoma acesscab offroad, or what the top speed the truck can go with stock tires. Reason im wondering and not testing my self is that i got pulled over and got my truck impounded going 196km an hour (so they say but i believe their radar is wrong) but i dont ever rememering even being able to get my truck past 180km also I wasnt going down hill either. Next step is to put it on a dyno once i get it out to prove to them i couldnt possibly have been going that fast. Id like to hear what the top speed others have gotten their truck up before i go that route.
    Thanks

I think your pretty close with the 180kms, I think I got to 112/113 mph. Some where there is a data sheet that tells you what yota thinks it is.

Now that being said even 180 kph seems like it could get you in a world of trouble.

The thing is, if their reading my truck going faster than its capable of doing and i can prove their radar is out of calibration its no longer admissible in court and i can get the charges thrown out.

Are your tires larger than the factory size? That will effect your speedometer calibration.
