Got my first Tacoma. 2020 TRD sport 6ft

So excited to say I got my first Tacoma. It’s a 2020 TRd sport with a 6ft bed. This thing is frickin sweet I’m super happy with it. Whoever originally bought it got all the options with it also so that’s pretty cool. Enjoying it so far, had it less than a week and already tested it in a snow storm and manage to avoid a few tornadoes and hail on my way home with it.

also anyone have any issues with slick ass floor mats? The stock ones seem to be super slick unless it’s something the dealership did to them. My feet slide all over the place on them.

pretty sure mine are the stock rubber ones. They’re nice but slick as shit. Wonder if they have some kind of armorall type stuff or something on them making them slick. If it doesn’t go away I’ll have to look for something else.

Nice rig for sure. I had my 2020 Quicksand OR DCLB shipped up from TX and the OEM floor mats had the normal dealership "purple stuff" (just what we used to call it) slopped on the tires, exterior black work and the floor mats too.
And yes, slick as rat snot until it wears off.

 

the only color choice!! And thank you. Actually almost got a charcoal grey one w a 6ft bed, was between that or a tan one w 5ft then this popped up and I jumped right on it. Glad I waited. Absolutely love this truck.

 

Ok good to know it’s not just me. I’ll give it time and see if it wears off then
I had to fly to Indianapolis from Iowa to get this and drive back.

 

My previous rig was a sport in gray with the 5' bed. I went with the 6' quicksand this time and much prefer the longbed.

Now there is a worth while 4 door! Still prefer my access cab.

I'm loving the LB, but coming from owning a JKRU I'm not quite used to the wheel base/turning yet.

 

Yeah the 6ft bed is so much better for everything.

 

kinda does but I’m all in for it.

 

I put a shell on mine and it's perfect for just about everything I do!

 

I love your truck because it's a SPORT.

Mine is also my first Tacoma...it's a short bed.

One length isn't better than the other...everyone has different needs.

Color is also a preference...I think all 3rd Gen Tacomas are gorgeous...even the Barcelona Red...a color I've always avoided because of attention it apparently attracts making it higher priced insurance...which I've never understood that theory.
