I picked up a Extang Solid Fold 2.0 that was used 2 months and it looks like new except after installing it just did not look correctly seated. I have an OEM that leaks and wanted to try this one to see if I had better luck. Only paid $450.00 and it came with a like new bed mat. Anybody have a suggestion I don't think that it should have that angle at the hinge.

I'd assume it's not aligned perfectly at the cab? Have you folded it back to that part and pushed it side to side and tried everything to make it close properly?

I have the same cover. That hinge doesn’t look right to me. It’s kind of hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like you don’t have it seated far enough forward.

I don't know what you mean by seated forward.
I tried adjusting the cover further up towards the cab centering it but I think their is something wrong with the hinge. I will play around with it this weekend so I was looking for some ideas. The cover itself looks like it just came out of the box. The previous owner had it on for a month and got rid of the Tacoma but he had it laying around not installed for a few months. He told me he had zero problems and no leaks. I reached out to him today but he did not get back to me.

I can check mine tomorrow as well and see how far forward it is.

Also I was thinking maybe the seals or the end caps on the hinge are the problem. All can be replaced for about $50 bucks and for the price I got it and if I knew that would fix it I have no problem doing that. Try getting the same for the OEM $$$$.
Extang is no help unless you have a proof of purchase.

Here are some pictures I took this evening. If you want I can take more pictures or even some measurements to show how I have it set up. We’ve had about a foot of snow over the past week and it all melted today. Completely dry in the bed until I opened it. Hope this helps.

Nice I just ordered new seals from Etrailer.com the ones I am getting look just like yours not what I have. I am hopping that should solve this problem. Is the seal behind the cab the same?
I do appreciate the pictures they help a lot.

I’ll take a picture of the front seal tomorrow if it doesn’t snow again.

If I get this fixed I will probably sell my OEM Tonneau it's to heavy at least the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 is much lighter to remove. Plus I got it with a bed mat so it will bundle it. But not ready to let it go that's why did not post it yet in the for sale section.
