Hello folks, my name is Aaron, and I am a disabled veteran (on a tight budget so sticking with the basic truck for a while lol) and this is my wife who has cerebral palsy.

I had a 2019 for a while and really loved it but this one feels so much better. I dream of an upgraded truck but that is a future dream on my budget.

I already have a roll-up soft bed cover (want a metal roll-up but that is a future thing), sure-fit floor mats, and seat covers coming in for it from RC.

I love looking at all the pics and posts about the builds and all the great stuff that can be done to them, but I am also happy as I can be with my SR.

One of my favorite things is that it came with a tow receiver and wiring and I did not have to add it to pull a small 5' x 8' trailer for my lawn mower.

The add on receivers (affordable ones) usually sit down much further than stock ones.

One of my biggest dreams for this is to get a Tusca Hitchhiker for the bed or for the trailer to slide in for camping or taking little trips.

Thank you and have a great day/night depending on where you are.

Great truck and great Beard! Kept my budget lower as well and snagged a softopper to camp out of the bed, made my own “topper tent” style extension out of an $8 tarp, a $10 mosquito net, and like $30 of PVC! Splurged on a nice camping mattress and it works well. Cheaper and more practical than an RTT. Never heard of those campers you linked, but I just checked them out and they are pretty sweet!

I watch "Camping with Steve" on youtube and he does some great camping with tarps. I have thought of getting a soft cover maybe and extending it like you mentioned.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
The perfect machine. Congrats! That tail pipe has got to go, though. Edit: the window tint? Wondering the who, what, where and why with that…

This is close to the model that I'm thinking about, except I would get the xtracab with 6' bed. Looks like you got the SR5 wheels on an SR. The SR5 is slightly more appealing to me than the SR because of the extra 50 hp with the same mpg (of course, more $ too).

Anyway, great looking truck, hope you enjoy it.

    Well played.
Silver shows off the lines & shadows, and pops in the sun. I might add, the uncovered B-pillars on your truck gives it a nice Gen2 vibe. Congrats!
