Everybody on here knows how expensive modding a Tacoma is.... I've been trying to think of ways to supplement my income and I found this app called GoShare:

It's kind of like Uber but you dont drive people, you move their stuff.

Anybody on here have any experience good or bad?

Okay, I saw quite a few people looking at this thread and no responses so I'll share my experience:

I signed up for the App, I had to get my truck inspected: free
I had to get a background check $45
I submitted my proof of registration and insurance, and I was good to go!

The first day they enabled my account I was leaving work at 730pm and got a request. I was able to see a picture of what I had to move and where it was going. It was a couple of 1'' by 8'' boxes that had to be moved about 3 miles. I was in a suit but I accepted the job anyway. From the time I started loading the boxes until I was done delivering and unloading was 11 minutes. The minimum job cost is $29.99. Drivers get 80% ($24) in the this case. He tipped me $5 cash as well. I made an extra $29 dollars and I was home about 30minutes later than I would have been without the job.

The app is still very much in the development stage, everything works really well but there just arent that many jobs. Before I started I asked how many jobs per day, the response was about 8-10. This seems true on the weekends but frequently on weekdays that number can be more like 2-3 and they go very quickly because the first driver to respond gets the job.

Let me know what you guys think or if you have any questions.

Yeah, that's the problem...not too many have.

I'm not a fan of the name, it says nothing about hauling or moving or trucks.... but then again what the fuck does UBER mean? :notsure:
