I just started saving my pennies to replace the stock Bridgestones on my truck. I am leaning toward BFG All Terrains based on my previous experience with them, but I haven't made a firm decision yet. If I spend that kind of money, it may not be until spring.

However, I just came across a set of lightly used Wrangler AT/S, with full tread, for $300. The size is 265/70/17. So...I was wondering if anyone here is running them. If so, do you like them?

My off roading is limited to seasonal roads, hayfields, and cow pastures (regularly during deer season, occasionally during the rest of the year). Most of my driving is on road, in an area that can receive heavy amounts of lake-effect snow.

    Thanks!

Ahh Pulaski area, cool. I know some folks in Williamstown and have some family in Redfield that live on the reservoir.

I'm not sure then. The tread pattern looks similar to the silent armors and I find that was the problem with them. Didn't clear well especially in the snow. They just filled up and then felt like slicks! Haha it's a great deal though. Try them if you'd like, but when buying new no question spend the little extra for the BFG's.

Yup, that's the general area. :)

The tread does look very similar, and that's really good info to know. Thanks very much!!
