Alright my taco brothers. Got an SR5 and need a solid tire. My last truck TRD OR had the bfg ko2 but I'm looking at nitto Terra grapplers vs good year Wrangler terrain adventure. Start your voting.

** I've had Terra grapplers in the past, not a bad tire, but never had goodyear...

265/75 16 Duratracs for the win. Best rain rating.

That's too aggressive. I need more of a highway. What's the mileage rating on those lol

Another +1 for Duratrac. Running stock OR size 265/70/16 on my SR5. Supposedly a 50k mile tire and I’m averaging 20.8 mpg

Cooper AT 4S! I put these on about 4K miles ago. NO noise over worn stockers on my SR5. Best traction of a four season (4S) AT tire I've ever seen on any of my trucks. AMAZING wet traction which is always trouble in an AT tire. I'm sold and will always put these on my truck.

How much do you go off-road? What environments? How often do you go through snow? More details are needed.

Recently moved back to Ohio from Grand junction Colorado. My KO2s were perfect for out there. But the tires I have now came with my truck and are terrible. I drive mostly City, but want something more aggressive that has great traction. I also am very outdoorsy and like to camp so I want a little ruggedness.

Goodyear sucks. I bought mtrK for my jeep. Ended up needing 7 tires.
    4 side walls
    2 went out of round
1 the tread started separating from the husk

I’ve been using Nitto RGs and I really like them so far. Good off road tires, they aren’t MTs but they are really great on road. Overall really good tire and good compromise.

I sell tires as a part time job, NItto it’s probably one of the best tires out there. Their ridge grappler, and their Terra grappler, handle really well, and wear really well. Toyo also gets good reviews from my customers. Falken At3W also gets great reviews and feedback, and it’s one of the least expensive brand-name tires in the all-terrain field. The new versions of the Cooper At3 LT, and XLT have been getting good reviews online, and have new more aggressive side walls in the previous versions. Besides the ridge grappler, I’ve been contemplating getting the Cooper XLT in a 285/75/16 for my 18 Tacoma - I even did a test fit

lvoe the ridge grapplers,, they took almost no weight to balance, i think one small weight on 3 of them and 2 small weights on the 4th one. got about 20,000 miles on them. still love them

Sounds like you need a E Load tire.

You could settle on the Goodyear Kevlar's that come on the Off-Road. It's definitely more of a Highway Tire, than an O.R. tire.

The Terra Grapplers are great tires but in my experience they wear out fast.

Im running Hankook Dynapro ATM and am really happy with them. Great in all conditions, look just aggressive enough, not noisy, and treadwear has been great.

I personally love Grapplers have them on both mine and my wife's Tacoma's. Every set of Goodyear's I had on trucks sucked at least for me and in the south Florida heat. Others may have better luck though.

Goodyear makes great Bass Boat trailer tires though.

I have the ridge grapplers as well and I do like them a lot but I think I will stick with my best experienced set of tires that seem to last the longest and drive the best in snow, ice and all around...BFG all-terrains.

My Ridge Grapplers took a ton of weight to balance, but balance they did. I like them a lot, on and off road. Only thing left to be determined will be longevity. Truth be told, if I get a solid 25K out of them, I'll replace with the same.
