Be careful with what ice scrapers you use on your windows. I usually let the truck warm up for a couple minutes before clearing the windows. Toyotas glass scratches so easily. Ill only use plastic scrapers now. I have a brass scraper that was awesome but had to stop using it with the newer cars.

I use an old broom to remove snow and a $5 scraper from Walmart to get anything the defroster didn't melt. Fancy scraper is just a waste of money.

Imo, there isn't a really good ice scrapper....they all work well the first couple times till the edge gets dull. I just try to buy the cheapest one with a long handle.

Brass is almost impossible to find. I need to replace one (20 years old) and get an extra for the other vehicle. Never scratched a window with brass. Plastic yes.

I used to love the brass scrappers but haven't seen them for years. Like others have said the plastic one's break .

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Looks like Amazon has many brass scrapers. Here's a nasty looking one...

    www.amazon.com/Double-Scraper-Shovel-Ergonomic-Household/dp/B08K2TS4QV

I can't recommend them, though. I used one on my '97 Ranger and it worked great on the windshield, but scratched the snot out of my side windows.

I use a 24" shop broom to push the snow off the truck. Roof, windshield, hood, grill. I don't clear the bed.....let that blow out or melt out

I did have a scraper with a brass edge. It grew legs to go on an adventure. Been looking for a replacement for a long time. The plastic scrapers need to be replaced every year, sometimes 2x in a year.

2nd the recommendation to NOT use the wipers to remove snow, ice or frost.

I realized it was a violation of the COC, so I deleted it. Oops.

Back in the day after my 1992 Toyota Pickup Truck ( MT ) was well paid for and scratched and dinged
I'd throw a plastic tarp over the cab and tuck the tarp into the door. In the morning I'd just flop that
tarp off and be good to go. I wonder if a good used soft blanket would to that trick for you as well.

    No, I don't miss the mid-west.

Wife always clears the snow off my truck while she is out shoveling the driveway. Sometimes while having coffee I have to knock on the kitchen window to point out any spots she missed.

My wife got me this one last year, and after initially scoffing it my opinion changed once I used it. It works great, and reaches every inch of the roof.

This is by far the best I have found. Since buying one of these, I have never had a single issue cleaning ice from my wind shield.
