Went wheeling and some sand got in between the glass and outer window trim. Whenever I roll the windows I can hear sand scratching the glass. I’ve rolled them all the way down to vacuum as much as I can wherever the window contacts the trim but I’m still hearing scratching. Any ideas?

Do it yourself carwash with the high pressure wand. Just blast that shit out. And i wouldnt roll down the windows anymore until you have done this. You will permanently scratch the glass.

I would roll the windows down and take a damp microfiber cloth in between the molding and rub it back and forth. Try to get in as far down as you can and at a minimum it should knock the sand loose.

I just got back from the beach a few weeks ago and I still have sand accumulating around the truck, thankfully not in the window molding and trim. The issue I had was the dry air when I got home was causing static and the sand was sticking to the plastic interior. The vacuum did nothing for this, only a damp cloth worked against the static and either knocked the sand down or it accumulated on the cloth. It was all over the speaker holes in the doors.

do what i do when i roll up to the sand dunes. Blue painters tape on the bottom door to window seal to keep the sand out in the frist place.
