I have a 2019 double with the jbl audio system and I’m looking for a sub with a good amount of bass that goes behind the back seats, idc if I have to take the back plastic off just need to know where I can get a box that fits in there, what sub(s) I can put in it and what amp I need because I don’t know much about audio systems

You’re going to have some factors to work with since you have the JBL system.

You can get boxes that will go on the drivers side back wall. They will typically be for a single 8” or 10”
You won’t have to mess with any of the factory stuff

You can get a larger box, or even a dual sub box that will go all the way across the back wall. This will require removing the factory sub and relocating/extending the factory amp, which is a lot more work. This is your only option for “a good amount of bass” as you said you’re looking for. And even then, make sure to set your expectations properly. If you’re expecting two big 12’s in a massive ported box in a Tahoe, you got the wrong truck

Can you send a link for one of the driver side back wall boxes?

There’s several places that make them. Just do a search for Tacoma subwoofer boxes. I don’t have any links on hand

I have a Fosgate P300-10T powered sub behind the passenger side, where your JBL sub sits. It's got really good bass, not ground pounding, but enough to feel inside the cab.You will have to remove the plastic piece behind the rear of the seat. It's and easy way to get the bass your looking for in one single package.

This would require the removal of the factory sub enclosure, the relocation of the JBL amp, and you would need to buy the passenger side back wall panel from a non-JBL truck, because this has to sit down in the cubby.

I wonder if the alpine PWE-S8 powered sub would fit under one of the front seats?
Small compact, and powered, not a thumper but a good complementary unit, and one you’d feel under the seat..
I mounted one behind the rear seat of my CJ-5, and it sounds good. Pretty compact unit, which is why I think it may work there, perhaps two on both sides if you can swing it.. I’m considering this option as a new 2019 TRD pilot.. just reviewing some threads here as a new member to see what ya’ll did for the door speaker upgrades..

On a side note, can you snap a picture of this? I have the exact same sub sitting in my garage from removing it from a previous vehicle. I measured and it didn't look like it would stuff in there with the plastic removed. Does the upper seat still latch in properly? This may save me a bit of $$!

This is how it was, it fits perfectly with the cubby removed and the plastic from the rear of the seat. My new setup is the Taco Tunes box with the Fosgate woofer and amp connected just like it was in the original box.
