As the title says any Canadians on here that know of a good mechanic for working on lifted Tacomas in the Victoria/Saanich area? Thanks!

I would say avoid Island Spring. I asked them about an OME kit with 884's and they said that I should go with 5100's preloaded to 2.5" instead for a better ride....o_O

Thanks for the heads up. Have you heard anything about Searles Auto Repair? They came up when I did a search for local shops. Trying to fix a vibration issue that may be u-joint or carrier bearing related.

I haven't. Only lived on the Island for 5 years and never needed anything done at a shop except an A/C compressor charge on my previous tacoma.

Have a lift? Have it installed at a shop?

I've only been over here for two years. Just did the A/C charge when I had the truck at the dealer.

Actually me and a buddy put Bilstein 5100s up front set to 2.5 and 5100s in the back. Then I got Kal Tire to put a Toytec AAL in the back when I got my new tires put on. I also put a diff drop kit and carrier bearing drop kit in to fix some vibrations I was getting that went away in 4WD. Everything was great for 3 years until I got this new vibration about 5 months ago that doesn't go away when I put it in 4wd.
