Good Christmas Gift for New Tacoma

Hi there. My son just got a new TRD Offroad Tacoma. Trying to think of a x-mas gift or two for him for the truck. It has the premium and tech package so most of the basics are covered. Looking for both smaller ideas (<$100) and bigger items up to several hundred dollars. Any ideas?

How in tune are you to his style / desires?

If you're not sure, any of the "big ticket" items might be a bit tough as what you might pick out and what he might want could be miles apart. With those it might be better to tell him "I want to get you X item, and I want you to pick it out with the following price parameters"

As @shakerhood suggested the bed mat is a terrific idea. Beefy floor mats is another one, most people like either WeatherTech floor liners or Huskyliners. I personally would go for the X-act Contours from Husky as I have the WeatherTechs in my Tacoma and the Husky in my wife's Jeep and I find the Husky to be a better product these days.

Glove box and center console organizers (you can get them on Amazon for about $12-15 each).
Like others have said, OEM bed mat. It really works good to keeps things from sliding all over the bed.
Garmin Mini Dash Cam (which can be powered right from rear view mirror with a dongle from Amazon).
Black (or other color) “TACOMA” tailgate inserts.

Good basic gifts or upgrades would be floor mats whether like Weathertech (a little impartial because I live not to far from the factory store so it's much nicer to buy in person than order online) or Husky, OEM tacoma bed mat which are less than $100 generally and available at dealerships, phone holder, seat covers, window vent things, or organizers.
One thing that's always good for Tacoma owners is Fluid Film.
Big ticket ideas would be Diode Dynamics SS3 sae fog lights ($220<), lift kit, running boards, rims, roof rack or maybe tint.

KDMax-Pro Tune ($400?) Best $ I spent on my Tacoma!

There are others that I could add, but a lot is "out of stock", even though it's being advertised for sale?

 

LED interior lights, glovebox organizer, center console organizer, bed mat, tailgate letter inserts, rear bed cargo lights (plug and play, TRD may already have them), tailgate lock kit (TRD may already have it)....that's about all i can think of.....

 

Thanks for all the replies - lots to choose from. The truck came with a bed mat as well as all weather floor mats so probably good there. No side steps on his rig so that is definitely a possibility. Dashcam, TRD Pro shift knob, pro-tune, tow strap, roadside kit - all good ideas. Thanks! What about an aftermarket cat-back exhaust - is that a desirable upgrade? If so any recommendations on which one?
