    I'm having issues with shifting in my truck. Issue described to detail in this thread; https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/transmission-and-p0402-help.436968/

    I have been pointed towards pressure plate, however before I drop the transmission for the 3rd time and spend $250+ on OEM clutch, pressure plate and release bearing. I would like to get an opinion from someone who works on cars all day and has seen this issue before. Just to see what they think and if my issue is;
    1, clutch hydraulic system
    2, issue in bellhousing (defective pressure plate)
    3, bad transmission

    I live in 85260 zip, would prefer to go to auto repair shop which is not super far.

    Check out Tempe imports, they're not to far from Scottdale. Dan has always treated me well. The only thing i don't bring my truck to him for is suspension.

    Two of my best friends own a transmission shop. Call Allstate Transmission in Phoenix. (602) 253-2553

    ask for Mitch or Nicole.
