I have had a Go Rhino roll bar for a while. My dad gifted it to me when he got me the truck. He put the power actuated light bar and it was really nice at first. However, with off-roading, the single piston does not support it well and it shakes and rattles like crazy. I had seen a Tacoma with the solid panel mount, and figured it would be better to just have the solid mount. I can’t find the solid panel being sold anywhere by itself. I even contacted Go Rhino to see if they would just sell me the solid panel. They do not. I may just fabricate one with my grandfather if I can’t find anything, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what I could do otherwise, or where I could find that?image.jpg image.jpg

Looks like it's designed to have actuators on both sides. Keep it simple, remove the actuator and put solid brackets on both sides using the existing bolt holes. You can make it by bending a 1/8" flat steel which you can buy at any hardware store.

I talked with my grandfather today and we agreed that that’s a sound idea, thank you!

You could also use some small turn buckles to go from one of the mounting bolts for the actuator to the the pin on the light mount. This would give you some level of adjustability too so you can angle it how you need.
You can get them for pretty cheap, these are wind splitter turn buckles.

But I would mount one on each side where I have the red line and where the actuator is on the other side.
