Does anyone know if the new 2024 Off Roads will have the glossy black fender flares? Every picture or video that I’ve seen, seem to show glossy black fender flares and even glossy black composite bed. It just seems like those are odd things to make glossy black.

I feel like the glossy flares on the pro are actually painted black like the roof, not just shiny plastic.

Since the TRD Prerunner and Trailhunter have matte black flares, I assume the Off Road will as well. We have only seen an unfinished prototype in orange of the Off Road thus far.

One of the vids a while back mentioned the composite beds would have a texture on the final product. I think we will have to wait and see though.

I don't think the SR has add on flares. I only noticed this a week ago, and it was on the white DC rendering that Toyota shows on their site. I thought it had flares, but it looks like the flare us stamped into the sheet metal like the 3G SR. The air vent is molded in to the front bumper cover.

Yep I think you're right, the piece on the bumper might be stuck on but the rest is all sheet metal

I'm not sure now but the fender looks like it's all sheet metal. The bumper piece is plastic, and the overfender that's all one piece.

The trucks shown in Hawaii had slick glossy beds, and Toyota confirmed they’ll be changed out before production, so perhaps they’ll also ditch the mirror shine on the over-fenders before final production.

Or, maybe Toyota is betting that 95% of the trucks sold will never touch an actual stick or brush while parking at Home Depot anyway.

Everything you see currently is preproduction. More than likely they will be textured plastic just like every other non painted plastic flare you’ve ever seen

Yes pre-production. Even that official rendering, look at the size on the tires 245/45 r 17.

I certainly hope the mirrors and fender flares are not glossy black on the Pro!

Maybe the actual production models will have even wider flares. They gotta get that extra width in somehow, especially since they chose NOT to use longer LCAs, UCAs, and wider axles for the extra width on the higher trim levels.

They probably put the glossy flares out just to have a laugh when all the forum rats get triggered by it.
