Getting ready to install my retrax pro xr ... any advice?

    Hey dude! It’s pretty straight forward. Just make sure you test close the tailgate before tightening it all down to make sure you’re lined up just right. Also, I didn’t install the drain tube since I didn’t want to drill a hole in the bed, but it barely leaks at all. I figured I’d go back and install the drain if it leaked badly but it definitely doesn’t need it for me. Good luck!

    Wowza! Am I HAPPY that I posted this post. I'm installing a Bedrug and I thought about running the hoses under nice and neat, etc. I think I may just forget that idea.

    Dang. A hole in the fuel filler. Heck-no!!!

    Make sure you open and close the cover a few times before tightening it all down too. It should move with little resistance.

    I rushed through mine and now the cover doesn’t close all the way because the rails are spaced 1/8” too far apart. Of course I have a tent and rack on mine so adjusting them isn’t as easy as it could be :facepalm:
