Just bought a Canadian 2018 TRD Sport and want to know if there’s any tricks to get CLIMATE CONTROL to read Fahrenheit from Celsius. I have done all other transitions small drivers screen settings, but cannot find anything on the CC.
    Thank you

Push apps on the head unit/radio
    Then push general
    Then weather temperature units

There is supposedly nothing that can be done for the ACC temp. Not even with TS. Sorry!

Are you sure for the Auto Climate Control? I believe that just changes things in the head unit / center display.

It's the only place to change the unit of measure, but what do I know... I only have a sr5 and my climate control is rolling down a window.

Yeah. That is true, but it doesn't fix the ACC.

I hear you. I have the same manual CC and like it. We have now had three other cars with ACC and only one of them came close to being truly automatic. They all needed some sort of adjusting to not be weird.

    You're welcome!

If you can find someone in CA with a US ACC, you might try swapping?

You should only need to learn 5-10°. Fwiw, I keep mine between 16-22° in the summer and 24-28 in the winter

anyone figured out if there’s a way to change this from Celsius to Fahrenheit I just bought a whole new climate control unit out of the same year. The Vin came back to an American built Tacoma and it’s still in Celsius. Is there any kind of ODB two controller, I can buy to change it.

Nope. The climate control system is controlled by an independent ecu. As far as I know, nobody has bothered to hack one yet. The Canada trucks have it built into the ecu and is not changeable. The electric control panel has nothing to due with it. It only displays what the ECU tells it.

This would be like attempting to get a Canadian to drink Schlitz beer.
    Can't be done.
