Just purchased 5 265/75r16 General Grabber ATX tires today. Tires are roughly 10$ more per tire. Discount tire said they wont brle selling the AT2s anymore. I have to wait till they get here in 3 weeks due to living on a island in Alaska. I can't wait! Anyone else rocking these? I haven't seen many videos or reviews for them yet.

I was really looking forward to them until I realized they only come in E-Load range

    Why are the E's a problem....too stiff?

They'll be stiffer and a lot heavier. E rated is overkill for 99 percent of Tacomas.

    Ha!...two good points taken!!

Is the stock load range good enough?

It all depends. Towing a heavy load or heavy off-roading will need thicker sidewalls.

I have a set of these (E Load) and don't have any problem at all with the way they ride. They ride great to me and I have been through a lot of different MT and AT tires over the last 25 years. They are very good all terrain tires.

Think the actual tread is deeper and a harder compound if I am not mistaken. I really wanted the AT2s but I take it that these are replacing the AT2s. My OR tires are getting low on tread with only 24k miles on the truck.

Just mounted up a set of 275/65/18 load E on stock wheels. Got them off CL for $600 brand new. Took a short ride around the neighborhood and I’ve got to say. I’m very impressed with the ride quality. I’m loving this as much as the KO2s. Let’s hope she last more than 45k.

Ya a few of us run these. I run them in the winter. It’s the only 33” tire I could find that was 3-peak rated and offered a tread wear warranty.

There’s a 60k mile tread wear warranty. You can download the details from General Tire.

I have them on my Wife's 2016 4Runner. So far they have been good. Road force balance was hard to pass on one in the set. I'm guessing cheap manufacture.

I know they're a good $200 cheaper for a set of 4 compare to KO2s with the same size. Not that I'm complaining.

Have a set on the wife's 2019 TRD OR 4Runner.

They have never been able to balance them but they are under the vibration tolerance set by General. I can live with it but don't expect a prefect balance.
