Nothing yet, I did splurge and got the TRD lift kit ordered.
    My Dudes/Dudets!

So this last week I pulled the trigger and ordered a set of the 17” stealth custom series gen5 wheels in dark bronze with a -10 offset. Like most of us getting new rims, I’m pretty stoked about getting them, the waiting game is killing me. When they arrive I’ll be sure to post my baby’s first set of rims.

but now the question is which tires should I go with? I do have the TRD lift kit installed giving my taco a 1.5” lift front and back. So that would give me some wiggle room for a plus size. I’m thinking 265/70R17 or LT265/70R17…. Not sure how hardcore of a tire I’ll need.

    Options!?

I’ve been a fan of the open country a/t Toyo tires, but these are the only all terrain tires I have experience with.

The BF Goodrich T/A K02’s seem like a good option but it’s what everyone is getting…

Falken wild peaks seem like a good option too!

    any other recommendations out there?

any thoughts on using one of these?

just trying to get some dialogue going!

    thx!

You can also look at 255/75/17. Its not at wide but you get a little bit of a taller tire.

Thanks for your input! So I did pull the trigger and got the set put on. Here are the results! I do find that I will have to remove or at least trim the front air damn for clearance. I will post more detailed photos in the future, right now the weather sucks….

How are these tires holding up? They appear to be a pretty good budget option.
