    Hello,

I have a Go Rhino Sport Bar 2.0 for my 2013 Tacoma. It looks great.

    Issue:

I do not want to bolt down the Sport Bar into the bed of the truck. Currently, it is clamped down and it has held up quite well.

Has anyone added a bed cover to the sport bar without bolting it down?

No money, all went to truck...
    probably incompatible without bolting down.

do you have pics of the truck with the sports bar? Thinking of getting one. Also, did those clamps come with the bar? If not, where did you get them?

The clamps did not come with the sport bar and were already in the truck when I purchased the used truck. Sorry, I can't help with this.

I don't think the pics give the sport bar justice. It looks a lot better in person.

I just thought of something that might work. What If I 3M tape the Sport Bar onto the bed. Then get a bed cover that uses the railing on top of the sportbar. So the sport bar would be held down by the 3M tape and the rail of the bed cover.

A few mods here and there and counting....
You could weld some flat stock to the side of the sport bar thus allowing it to bolt to the bed rails eliminating the clamps.

Then you can slide the cover through the opening.

I could be misunderstanding but I don't think that would work as most bed covers use the bed rails to clamp down.

i feel like you would need something custom or modified to get both components to work together. a lot of tonneau cover sill use existing bed rail system while other i believe will sit more on top...

the only other option i would see is going with a retractable one then drilling through and bolting it to the frame

but in all honesty i think that would look great. after having a tri fold for so long the idea of having a roll up like this is intriguing.
