    EDIT: This thread is the official place to post 4Runner TRD OR Trail rim pix and info for the 2nd gen 6 lug Taco. The 3rd gen guys have their own thread with lots of information and pictures. We do too now.

    Post up. :thumbsup:

    Size = 17x7.5
    Offset = 15 mm
    Back spacing = 4.25"
    Weight = 29.2 lbs

    There are 2 versions of this rim. An all silver version and one with the black painted areas between the spokes, lug area and center cap.

    Silver: '14 FJ Cruiser and '14-'16 4Runner Trail Edition

    Silver/black: '17+ 4Runner TRD OR

    The OE 2nd gen sensors will fit fine. I recommend a TPMS service kit to avoid potential leaks from reusing the existing seals. They can be had for about $6 a piece at the dealer. I'm sure there are other sources and options as well.

    Good info here: ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    ORIGINAL POST

    Just picked up some 4Runner Trail wheels with 265/70/17's. I known I can run this size on my stock suspension.

    But my question is...can I expect any rubbing on my stock front mudgaurds?

    I really want to keep them

    What wheel were you running? I know the 4R Trail rim has 15 mms more negative off set. Hoping that will help.

    And you're saying you rubbed on the mudgaurds?

    Thanks guys. I need to have my sensors moved over to the new wheels and have them rebalanced.

    I guess if I wasn't such a lazy ass I would throw them on 1st and check

    Zero rubbing with the 265/70/17s. The front mudgaurds were my only concern. I knew the rest would be fine. Liking the additional -15 mm of offset. Tires sit flush now.

    I needed new tires anyway. These wheels/tires only had 5k miles on them and were in new condition. I paid a couple of hundred less for this setup than I would've new tires only.

    Thank you to Tire Discounters for swapping over my sensors and taking my old tires in on trade in lieu of charging me for the service.

    Sorry for the poor lighting and the dirty rig.

    My stockers will have Duratracs on them by the fall for winter use and any light offroading.

    I've been running Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 Off-Road Tire - 265/70R17 113T on my stock 2015 wheels with the mud guards on and I've had no rubbing at all.
