I purchased a used 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road, which is automatic, back in
    October 2017.

The gear shift indicator light does not work. All other lights work.

I purchased a replacement bulb from the local Toyota Dealership and installed.

    Still did not light up.

I read your forum regarding this very issue and was very impressed with the details and options to resolve this issue.

I followed all recommendations and still the bulb does not burn.

    Any further suggestions?

    Welcome!

Wish I could help, but I have no knowledge on this. Hopefully someone will chime in that does. You might have better luck posting in the 2nd Gen section.

Is there voltage at the socket? If not, you have to start testing upstream until you find where there is voltage.

my 2105 does it sporadically. Never enough to take back to dealer. I found that if the light is off I toggle between drive and neutral a couple times and the light comes back on. I expect it to stop working forever at some point. Guessing and only guessing its a gremlin shorted/ loose/ bad connection under the shifter. I would start there if I was to want to start chasing it since for me that's the current "fix" by moving the shifter.

    Have you replaced the bulb?
And does the gear selector on the dash say you are in the correct gear?
