I've had this Gator ETX cover on the Tacoma for a few weeks now and I'm extremely happy with it. It fit perfectly, attached to the rails similar to the Tyger tri-fold reviewed here, and I had it on by myself in less than 15 minutes. The cover has good weather stripping that is already attached to the bottom side of the edges and even came with some weather stripping blocks for the bed header panel that is known to be a leak spot. I've had it through some pretty torrential rain storms and nothing in the bed has gotten wet. It says it's made in the U.S.A. and for the price I couldn't be happier.

I see they make a “premium” version of this for like $300....are you happy with this one it seems like? Still dry?

I’m sending back an extang 2.0 trifecta. My bed was absolutely soaked

I am still very happy with this cover, especially for the price. I'm not sure what the premium version gets you. While I seriously doubt it's 100% water tight, we are coming out of a span of weather that saw rain for nearly 10 days straight and everything in my bed is dry. I haven't lifted up the bed mat to see if any water at all made it in but it's definitely not letting in much.

I ordered one today. I did the premium...thicker vinyl is the main thing and I think the lady said something with hardware being more robust but idk. Anyways it saves me a hundred which I already spent for some rek mudflaps.

My brother had one of these and I just put one on mine yesterday. My truck is the magnetic grey and the cover matches perfectly. Questions though, I can see a tiny sliver of daylight at the front corners when looking under the cover from the tailgate, i don't see any open cracks when viewing from the outside. Does yours have that? Wondering if I need to adjust it forward a bit but feel like if I do the seal at the tailgate won't touch. Also which set of mounting holes on the brackets did you use? I used the bottom ones at first but decided to switch and use the top so I didn't have to tighten them up as far.

Edit: It's made in the USA too I believe which is another plus

Yup I have this also. Im not sure why Toyota made the truck this way it is not the cover's fault. It up under the lip of the bed on sides up high. Good news is that it doesn't leak bad. Sometimes a little water gets in but not enough to worry about for me

Does this cover stay locked if you lock the tailgate?

And if you lose the key, just cut it open with a knife. I had my two years zero issues.

I may be late to the party here, but I have the same cover on my 19 DCSB, I used some cheap foam weatherstripping with adhesive backing and shoved it up into the void Toyota made in the cab-side corners of the bed from the inside (exactly where the light you're seeing comes from) Before that, it was leaking a tiny bit into the bed during rain or when driving on wet roads. Seems to have worked so far.
