About. A year ago I did a 3F/2R lift and threw on some beefy tires. Obviously I’m gonna lose some MPG’s but I’m just curious what others are getting on an average. I went from 18/21mpg with stock to 13/15mpg now.

What do you have on there now? My guess is that the damage is already done and a slightly larger tire won't make much more difference.

I've got a 2 inch lift front and rear with 285 Nitto TG in SL that weigh 45 lbs, about 3 lbs heavier than the 265/70/17 I used to run. On the highway I dropped from 21 to about 19 average after almost 3 years. I also keep the speed under 70 as much as possible.

I did a 2/1.5 lift, 280 tires and on winter gas I'm in the 16-17 mpg range. Non-winter gas that goes up to 18-19 mpg. 90% of my daily commute is highway though.

Ughhh. I just did the 3.5” lift this past weekend and my 285/70r17s are set to arrive next week. Hope I don’t drop that much.

2-2.5" /285/70/17 12-13mpg...... I have a "heavy" foot but also my commute to work is about 7mile from highway to climbing a hill.

I was looking to do a similar lift and tire combination down the road, I figured I'd loose some mpgs but I didn't think it would be that much.

Running a 2.5" front 2" Rear lift with 285/70/17 load range C KO2's. Currently averaging 14-15mpg on winter fuel with a mixed condition 60mi round trip commute. Summer blend usually brings it back up to around 16mpg.

All depends on how much the tires weigh, the tread, inflation pressure and how you drive the truck.

Most of my driving is relatively flat highway (40 mile rt daily commute), 36 lbs inflation for road use and I never use cruise control.

Good to know, I do mostly highway driving as well, but would like to get into off-roading too. If I can manage to get 19 on a new setup I'd be happy, but I guess I wont know until I try.

Keep in mind during winter in colder climates the mpgs will be lower than the rest of the year so don't freak out if you put them on in the next few weeks.

From Nov - April I drop to 17-18 on the highway.

3.5 lift, 315/75-16, DIY hybrid front bumper, skids, sliders, ditch lights, hood struts, tailgate lock, bed rack, custom exhaust, horn meant for an actual truck, neoprene seat covers
2019 TRDOR 4x4 in Arizona driving on flat 60/40 city/highway

Bone stock was 18-20mpg (hit 21+mpg once in a while)

3.5/3 lift with stock tires - 17/18mpg. - ran it like this for about a month, then...
added KDMax tune - 16/17mpg - for two months till I got around to alignment, then...
315/75-16 - 12.6 to 13.3mpg - only on my second tank since putting the big boots on

Perfect timing to throw the 35's on... friggin gas prices... Thank gawd for a company fuel card...

not apples to apples comparison if your speedo isnt corrected. Bigger tires will zap some MPG but so will the inaccurate odometer

The odometer will be showing you drove fewer miles than actually driven and MPG calculations will also be lower than actual. But you have to go to a really huge tire for that to make even 1 mpg difference. Most of the time you only show about 1/2 MPG difference when this is factored in.

Went from ~19mpg stock to ~16.5mpg (corrected) with 2/1.5" lift and heavy 285/75R16 Duratracs. Mostly highway/freeway driving at 65-75mph. Getting KDMax tuned soon, hoping that will help a little.

I get 14-15 mpg. Don't know what it got with the stock tires? Only had the stock tires on for a few days before I lifted it and upgraded the tires.

I'm on 255s and get about the same. Indicated 14.x, actual is 15.x. 38 psi cold, 2.5" lift.

My tires went on first week in April, here’s a screenshot of tracked fuel mileage from about then until now
    1A0303CB-5994-42DB-AA97-81EA35B7DF1B.jpg

looking at this graph, it looks like buying my house last November and having a highway commute vs state roads and back roads made a much larger difference in fuel economy.
