What net do you use on your blueberries? Like them? I tried some, and they were too small.

Azaleas decided they wanted to show off this year.

    upload_2025-4-17_14-22-35.jpg

The clematis is also quite happy right now. We'll see how it does this year as the summer heat moves in and the sun hits that side of the house hard. They like the sun, but not the heat the house radiates out later in the day.

It will. Save the coffee grounds and sprinkle them on the ground/water with them during the year. Coffee is acidic.
I did it religiously all winter and bushes are loaded this year.

I was looking at my strawberry plants this evening and noticed they were black inside the flowers, we have had several freeze and frost warnings, guessing my covers were not enough protection.

Daffodils or Narcissus. They are a bulb and will send out baby bulbs if soil conditions are right. After everything turns brown, carefully dig them up shaking the dirt away from the roots and then separate the bulbs if they have multiplied. You can then replant. Or you can store them in a paper bag filled with sawdust or pine shavings until the fall. There is great information about this online. Hope that helps

If you leave them alone in the ground, they will spread also naturally. Daffodils need 6 weeks to feed the bulbs after they finish blooming. You can buy bilbs in Lowes, Home Depot, Sams, etc to plant more. They must be planted in the fall or EARLY spring. They need a lot of water to establish.
We put 75 bulbs in last falls and another 50 this February.
Squirrels love them and will dig them up. We lost a hundred bulbs to them when we planted daffodill under the pine trees.
If you are in GA, go to Gibbs Gardens. They have several million daffodils bloom every spring.

No problem! If you want really striking blooms, look for Tahity daffodills. They have a double row of petals.

PS sprinkling red pepper flakes deters the squirrels, but they need to be reapplied after the rain.

One of our early blueberries. I have 2 bushes in perfect spot and they ripen before others. Should have fresh bluberries in May.

We do take several boxes of paw-paws up to the relatives in KY every year
    Old timers love them.
