I've seen it in person and would definitely recommend it for TIG especially

Being a thin table though, you do not want to use standard 5/8" clamp tools as they can and will deform your table top easily

Opt for something like this - https://fireballtool.com/products/insert-hook-clamp

I would still side on building your own, having a top locally cut as it can be cheaper if not the same price

Otherwise, a great choice for something you just need to bolt together

I finally got a new floor jack with the lift height (and quality) that I always wanted. AC Hydraulics made in Denmark (not China like almost every other floor jack out there).

31" lift height pairs nicely with the 12 ton jack stands from Harbor Freight. I made a short extension with a modified saddle to reach and straddle the recessed front crossmember on my wife's Rav4.

Even though the jack is much longer than my old one, the overall length (with the handle) is less so there's no issue with having enough space to use it in front of or behind my truck.

I bought it from a place called Pelican Parts. They added additional packaging around the factory box and it survived a trip from southern California to northern Vermont via FedEx Ground without any damage.

    https://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/TOOL/POR_TOOL_ACHYD1_pg6.htm

My old jack was leaking but I rebuilt it with a kit from Lazzars (I also got the extra saddle from them).

I guess my only regret is that I don't have kids or grandkids to pass it down to as it should definitely outlast my lifetime unlike all of the semi disposable jacks that I've owned up to now.

scored an old Hunter GSP9700 road force balancer, getting ready to test it out tonight after I finish giving it a once over and cleaning all the shop dust out of the enclosed areas, next up will be some re-painting and getting some new accessories for it. I will be sure to post some pics here of the process.

I don’t know why it wouldn’t be allowed. I think this is great.

Jokes on you. Do the reverse OnlyFans. You send your male friends nudes, and they pay you to stop.

The second GEN Tacoma runs from 2005 to 2015. In 2012 Toyota gave the front of the truck a "facelift" to freshen up the design a bit. So the 2012-2015 Tacoma is sometimes referred to as the 2.5 GEN.
