2009 Silver Single Cab

I’ve got an ARE cap on my bed that the previous owner used a garage door seal for the front rail. After taking the cap off (to haul something for the wife) I replaced it but it must have slipped & has dropped out. I’m wondering if anyone has used some kind of spray on adhesive to keep the seal in place. I’m thinking of going that route but I’m not sure what to use. Ideas?
